Forever: Why You Can't Live Without It
Is this all you're living for? For years, pastor Paul Tripp understood we were 'hardwired for forever.' But he didn't understand that it was more than a valuable insight. It is a practical tool to help us face the disappointment of everyday life. Now he knows, and he can help you discover how to survive and thrive in the middle of your story, with the final chapter of heaven in view.
Instead of embracing the world's motto---'you only live once'---follow Tripp as he unpacks the biblical truth of the world as a broken place, longing for a second chance. And come alive as you discover the meaning and redemption all this brokenness can bring to your life today. With practical insights on how eternity impacts your relationships, your job, your kids, and your deepest struggles, you'll be encouraged to relax into the eternal story God is writing for you.
You really are hardwired for eternity, and this book reveals how you can begin to view all that happens in your life as preparation for Forever.

Lost Tableclothes: We are still missing most of our tablecloths. We had 50 at one time and now we are down to 15! If you or anyone you know have any, Aaron would very much appreciate returning them to the church office. We would love to still accomodate when needed for various functions, but we also need them to be returned.

Book Highlight: Gospel Centered Family
Hello Church Family,
Check out this book by Tim Chester and Ed Moll:
Numerous books set out to help Christian parents in the challenging mission of raising their children well-so what's different about this one? Well, the answer's in the title! It's not about how the gospel fits into Christian family life, but how family life should fit into the gospel-God's greatest purpose for this universe, achieved in Christ.
Many books aim to raise up competent, balanced parents and well-trained, well-rounded children. But Tim Chester and Ed Moll focus on families growing God-knowing, Christ-confessing, grace-receiving, servant-hearted, mission-minded believers-adults and children together.
Christian families should be about...
not just making good citizens but also church planters, missionaries, reformers, servants and evangelists not just learning about God but also showing Him to others;not just controlling behavior but also changing the heart; not just parents and children, but being an integral part of the wider church family.
In twelve concise chapters, Gospel-Centered Family takes us through the major Bible principles for family life, challenging us to give up our 'respectable' middle-class idols, and to become the distinctively different people that God, through His gospel, calls us to be.
About the Author: Tim Chester (PhD, University of Wales) is codirector of The Porterbrook Network, which equips individuals and churches to rediscover mission, and director of the Northern Training Institute, which provides integrated theological and missional training for church leaders. He is coleader of the Crowded House, a group of church-planting networks.
